Orinagi 織凪 - Golden Studs (Checked Pattern)

織凪 (Orinagi) combines the sense of ori (to fold or weave) and nagi (a calm, gentle stillness), forming an idea of quiet harmony shaped through making. The collection evolves from FU(NA)TURE 2, focusing on the union of traditional craft and modern digital processes. Mitsuro Hikime textures and digitally modelled structures are brought together to create forms and textures that could not be easily achieved through either method alone. Orinagi expresses a subtle meeting point between hand-made sensitivity and technological precision, resulting in a visual language unique to this body of work.
