All products are subject to availability. We strive to present product descriptions, specifications, and images as accurately as possible. However, due to the handmade nature of the products and variations in screen displays, we cannot guarantee the exact appearance of the products.

Once you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email. This email confirms that we have received your order and are processing it. For example, if you order a bespoke ring through our website, you will first receive an automated confirmation email. This is followed by a personal email from us to discuss further details such as ring size and timeline. Production begins once these details are confirmed and payment has been processed.

 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to issues related to payment authorisation, stock availability, or suspected fraud.​

3. Pricing and Payment
 

All prices are listed in GBP. Prices are subject to change without notice.

 

We accept payment via major credit/ debit cards and PayPal. All payments must be completed before orders are processed unless otherwise specified. You confirm that the payment details provided are valid and that you are authorised to use the method of payment.

4. Custom and Bespoke Orders
 

Custom and bespoke jewellery orders require a non-refundable deposit to initiate production. Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.

 

Please ensure that all design specifications are agreed upon before confirmation. We will not be responsible for delays or issues arising from unclear or incorrect specifications.

5. Hallmarking Guarantee
 

Michael Lin Jewellery (Man Hei Michael Lin) is registered with the Birmingham Assay Office.
 

Hallmarks are official stamps applied to precious metal jewellery to certify the type and purity of the metal. This system, one of the earliest forms of consumer protection, ensures that jewellery made with precious metals meets the UK legal standards and is not merely plated base metal.
 

In the UK, hallmarking is legally required for describing or selling items made with Gold, Silver, Platinum or Palladium if they exceed certain weight thresholds: over 1 gram for gold or palladium, over 7.78 grams for silver, and over 0.5 grams for platinum. Items under these weights are exempt from mandatory hallmarking but may still be tested and marked voluntarily.
 

Our precious metal jewellery complies with UK hallmarking regulations. Where applicable, items will be hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office. Hallmarks may be applied using laser or traditional methods.

6. Shipping and Delivery
 

We offer both domestic and international shipping. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and may vary by location and courier service. While we aim to meet these timelines, delays caused by third-party carriers, customs, or unforeseen events are outside our control.

 

You will receive tracking details once your order has been dispatched. All Express Delivery options include protection against lost parcels. Standard delivery does not include this protection.

Shipping fees and any applicable import duties or customs charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

7. Returns and Exchanges
 

We hope you are happy with your purchase. For jewellery and ready-made items, we offer returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and returned with all packaging.

 

Due to health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on earrings. Bespoke or custom-made items are non-refundable once production has started.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or damaged on arrival. In that case, please contact us within 3 working days of receiving the item.

8. Mitsuro Hikime Wax Return Policy
 

Due to the raw material nature of Mitsuro Hikime wax, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for this product.

If you encounter any issues, please contact us within 5 working days of receiving your order, and we will do our best to assist you.
